I'm reading Orthodoxy (finally). I wish I would've read this book years ago. I have a question. What do you think of Chesterton's words where he says that at the Crucifiction, it seems that God Himself was an atheist. Granted, Chesterton himself said he had some reservations about his wording, but the idea makes me nervous. perhaps that is a good thing.
I'm sorry I can't quote the passage verbatim, but I don't have Orthodoxy with me currently. and so I figured I go ahead and annoy you without the material than forget to post entirely.
