It is good to have the Word of God easily available for outreach. But is the ESV a suitable version for such a wide audience of non-believers? See my post on this at the Better Bibles Blog.
This has been very annoying - this "offer" has been out there since September '06, but it actually isn't available anywhere. I've gone to the Christian bookstores referred to - they don't carry it. I've gone online - that price isn't available. Folks, I hate to say it, but this pricing for this book is a practical scam.
BTW, I think the ESV is a great translation - you really ought to actually read it.

Peter, we all are aware of Better Bible's opinion of the ESV. I do not really have any comment.
Thanks

I am unclear as to just how I get them. My local Lifeway doesn't seem to have them in stock. Can you offer any pointers?

On the Crossway site it says the program will begin Oct 1 - I would check back then.
ISBN 1-58134-835-5
Available October 1, 2006
We can grab them then
