Reid, did you ever have Bart Ehrman at UNC? I believe I watched a debate between him and Josh McDowell. It's been a while. Did you go with me?

I didn't ever take Ehrman, but I have since read several of his books. He has sort of a "reverse testimony" of how he became a Christian in high school, went to Moody Bible College, then Wheaton, then Princeton Seminary where he chucked his faith and became the one and only "Bart Erhman" - as known at UNC.
Teaching kids? I would guess it would be something like: Be nice, be educated, make up your own story about life to give it meaning.

Nice link. I'm a fan of McGrath and I think his work is important. I have his book "Reformation Thought" (which is on my floor) but I've been too busy to read it. :-(
Hope all is well.

We are doing OK - been a hard season recently. I have not read much McGrath - though I have his book Dawkins' God: Genes, Memes, and the Meaning of Life but have not read it...
I am planning on reading Dennett's Breaking the Spell - Religion as a Natural Phenom this summer.
