Engadget has the most ridiculous iPhone review out...ridiculously thorough. Enjoy, but don't worship a little handheld device...that would be evil.

Now that we're past activation woes, my wife and I like our iPhones very much.

Mansfield - that was uncalled for! Smile. Glad you are enjoying. I am interested - but waiting. Not sure about AT&T and the keyboard...we'll see. I'll be in the market 6-12 months from now for a smart phone. Maybe they will have a 16GB model for 400 bucks in a year :)

Yes, I'm not sure about AT&T either, but I guess now I'm with them for a minimum of two years.
Regardless, the keyboard worries (I had them, too) have turned out to be a total non-issue. I'm now just as fast on the iPhone's virtual keyboard as I was on my Treo's physical keyboard--if not faster.

I'm still looking for a cell phone with rotary dial.
(yes, I've seen the links)

Good news - maybe by next year AT&T will at least have a broader roll out of it almost 3G service, the iPhone may have version 2.0 out, wireless syncing to Exchange, more storage, microSD, etc. I really like the iPhone's potential and encouraged to hear you can type on thing.

Power management will always be an issue for me. The simple fact is that functionality on hand-held devices have outgrown battery development at a much faster rate. It's kinda odd that this country isn't dumping more R&D resources into figuring out how to make better batteries.
