My good friend Andre Davis is having a great day for the Houston Texans - as of the beginning of the 4th quarter Dre has 5 catches, 117 yards and a touchdown...represent Dre! Andre was part of our ministry at Va Tech, helped me out here in Nashville with an inner city football camp in Summer 06. When VT made the national championship game in 1999 Dre was on the cover of Sports Illustrated...with a symbol that marks his life on his glove. He and his lovely wife Janelle are dear friends expecting a son in January.

yeah it's great to see that Andre is having some success in the league. i remember that magical 99 season and he had a great year. he is the record holder at VT for total yards in a year (99) for a WR. never got to meet him personally tho, but that's ok

Being from Indiana, I was really into the Colts/Texan game when I heard the name of Andre Davis. So I had to remain faithful to my team but was cheering on Andre. Great to see him have a great day. My daughter, Christine and Andre were good friends in college working with Athletes in Action. I heard lots of great things about him.

Carolyn, yes Christine and Dre were part of the original VTAIA crew that pioneered the minsitry in Blacksburg. He is a good guy indeed.
