RU into Philosophy?

There is an article in the New York Times about the rising interest in studying philosophy as an undergraduate.  Much of the article focuses on the highly rated philosophy department at Rutgers University - right in the backyard of the place we will soon call home.  I hope the Philosophy club will let me hang out with them - maybe they will think I am fresh meat...a willing friend on the journey perhaps.  I really look forward to it - I love the love of wisdom.

Reid, thanks for the link. I've wished since I finished 5 years ago that would have majored in philosophy as well. And not just because of this quote from the article, "That whole deep existential torment, it’s good for getting girlfriends." Pray you guys are well!

Zach, so good to hear from you. I am guessing you are neck deep still in that glorious Czech Language - you are sowing towards the future my friend. Have you read the book Total church out of England? It is quite good - I think you would like it. Very balanced between some of the good stuff Emergents talk about (Gospel Community) and what reformed folk love (Gospel Word, Gospel Mission)

Blessings man, maybe we can talk some time this week. I may have some car time Tuesday.

Peace
Reid
