Kasey and I are moving again next week. Not to where we were hoping but to an interim stop on our journey towards New Jersey. We have a slight game delay so we have to pull the tarp over the field and sit in the dugout for a short season. As I think about moving I can testify that I have grown and matured a little in the last four years...want proof? I promise I will NEVER do this again.
Figure 1 - Reid's moving schematic (yes schematic) from May 2004...man, did I have issues. Now I will only do this in my head and not do it on the computer. For those who are wondering...yes, it was all "to scale." For larger version - click here.

Holy cow, man, I designed my last house and the plans weren't that detailed!
j/k... I'm pretty anal..... um, "meticulous," too.

Yes, you had issues...I pray you "had" them and don't still "have" them. That is insane dude.

Planning can really take the joy out of things. Not that there is any joy in moving.
The wife and I are taking our first "real" vacation since we got married. I'm trying to make sure we don't "plan" it too much.
Yes, we booked everything, got our shots and we're taking travelers checks, stomach medicine, bug spray, sun block... all that kind of stuff that makes sense.
But we're not filling up the days with excursions, tours and scheduled activities. The *only* thing we've planned so far is scuba lessons.
I've seen too many couples come back from vacation, needing a vacation.

Good man Mike - that is my kind of vacation. I like to just chill and do nothing if on vacation ;) Enjoy the time friend.
Just for the record - I did not plan the packing this go around :)
Once we find a house, how can I get you up to build me some bookshelves?

Still trying to get me to move to Jersey, huh?
You can't afford me... even at my "friend" rate. :-)
Bookshelves...I think the gas to drive a van full of tools would cost more than the shelves. If you're starting a church, you need to recruit a handyman, anyway. Have a carpenter outreach. :-)
If you don't care what they look like, I can offer some cheap-n-dirty solutions-- I know you have about 12 feet worth of books that need a resting place.
