Reid S. Monaghan

Reid MonaghanWhere to begin? I guess I could take it back to the old days of high school sports and All American wrestling skills, but that might get us singing a little too much of Springstein's Glory Days. I guess life really changed for me at age 19 - when as a college student studying Physics (and wrestling for the UNC Tarheels), I had someone befriend me and ask me some interesting questions.

Reid - You are doing well in school, you are starting on the wrestling team as a Freshman...where does God fit into your life?

Well, the rest is a long story, but a dead (well, not exactly as he is not still dead) guy named Jesus invaded my life and has been working on me ever since.

My interests are philosophy, geeky computer stuff, theology, working out, any kind of sporting competition, my family and seeing people come to understand the good news of Jesus.

Some of my greatest joys in life are from the gifts God has given in my wife Kasey (married 1996), and my shorties Kayla (circa 2001), Kylene (circa 2003), and Thomas Reid (circa 2006).

I hope my musings may cause you to think about life differently and perhaps follow the one who lived and died to bring people to God.
